DMT Myograph Course |
|
Myography permits the investigation of small artery
function in many varied ways: including isometric force
development and myogenic tone. The aim of the DMT Myograph
Course is to introduce the participants to the basic
principles involved in small vessel myography, such as the
important experimental techniques and equipment used. The
course is composed of morning sessions that include a series
of informative talks and discussions, and afternoon sessions
which emphasise the development of hands-on experience with
dissecting and mounting arteries in both
the pressure and
wire myograph systems. The intention is that by the end of
the
five-day course, the participants will be equipped with
the skills necessary to begin myograph experiments in their
own laboratories. |
