Country Manager /
Sales Engineer - United Kingdom
We are looking to bring in a
UK-based Country manager / sales
engineer, that has a strong combined
back ground of sales and science
(degree in pharmacology, physiology,
biology etc.)
This challenging and varied position
combined operational and management
responsibilities in reference to
oversee all sales to new and
existing customers within the
academic community and
pharmaceutical industry.
Important features, it to be a
'doer' - someone that is a completer
and that will be involved in
developing and driving agreed sales
strategies.
We pride ourselves on quality - not
only to our products but on customer
service/support as well. You must
therefore process exceptional
personal skills as the interaction
with customers represent a broad
range of individuals - being
students, technicians, doctor's and
professor's.
There must be a clear hunger for
success and good analytic skills in
order to manage budgets, forecasts
and reporting.
The position requires extensive
travel within the UK and some trips
throughout Europe.
Responsibility & Tasks

Achieve budget targets in
assigned territory

Reporting to European Sales
Manager
-
Maintain and develop strong
professional relationship with
existing customers
-
Promote and sell DMT and
associated 3rd party products
-
Prospect new customers and visit
potential customers
-
Gather marked and customer
information
-
Represent DMT at trade shows,
events and demonstrations
-
Advise on forthcoming products
development
-
Gain a clear understanding of
customer’s field and requirement
-
Feeding future trends back to
Sales Director
-
Provide optimal
after-sales-service according to
DMT standard
-
Stay familiar and up-to-date
with DMT equipment and services
-
Stay updated on competitors and
competing equipment
