The 750TOBS with its unique heating system (pat. pend.) are used to investigate the physiology and pharmacology of  smooth muscle (vascular and non-vascular), muscle and other tissue preparations. The modular design allows up to four individually mounted tissues to be studied simultaneously and independently per system.

The control & acquisition software comes with the DMT Tissue-Organ Bath System. It allows full control of the systems key functions and in addition provides a simple easy-to-use acquisition program.

The Tissue bath is intended for studies of four isolated tissue (dia. 500µm - 10mm.) preparations simultaneously, mounted as ring preparations. The sensitive force transducers allow measurements of isometric muscle tension while micropositioners allow the attraumatic setting of tissue diameter. Each unit has individually controlled gas inflow and suction conduits and chambers are round stainless steel that simplifies cleaning. The system is automatically heated to a given set temperature.
